Services have now been restored between Halifax and Hebden Bridge after they were suspended yesterday evening as a result of a suspected landslip blocking the line.

There are currently no services between Halifax and Hebden Bridge as a result of a landslip. This means that services between Leeds and Manchester Victoria and York and Blackpool North are experiencing severe disruption.

Northern has announced that rail and tram services to and from Manchester Victoria station will resume normal operation on Tuesday 30 May following the tragic terror attack at Manchester Arena. The services that will resume are those provided by Northern, TransPennine Express (TPE) and Metrolink.

Manchester Victoria remains closed

Following the tragic event at Manchester Arena earlier this week, and the subsequent closure of Manchester Victoria station, there has been a significant impact on Northern’s services in the Greater Manchester region.
