GREAT NORTH RAIL PROJECT RESULTING IN SPACE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 40,000 PEOPLE INTO SHEFFIELD AND OTHER NORTHERN CITIES AT PEAK TIMES

Rail Minister Paul Maynard MP, Northern and Network Rail have officially opened a new £23m train maintenance depot in Blackburn.

Primary school children from Preston have been given a first-hand look at the workings of the railway.

Northern has renamed one of its trains the Yorkshire Warrior, in honour of the Yorkshire Regiment – also known as Yorkshire Warriors. 

Northern is working to keep the north of England on the move this evening.
