Storm Ciara - Ongoing disruption into Monday 10th February
Following the strong winds and rain brought by Storm Ciara, Northern is expecting some disruption to services on Monday 10th February.
Customers are advised to check before they travel for the latest updates.
The following services will be affected on Monday 10th February:
Ilkley / Skipton / Bradford Forster Square – Leeds – this line will remain closed on Monday due to flooding at Kirkstall Forge.
- Customers travelling from Bradford are advised to travel from Bradford Interchange. Details on how to find Bradford Interchange can be found here.
- Rail replacement buses will run from Guiseley and Shipley to Leeds.
Skipton – Carlisle / Lancaster – this line remains closed due to flooding at Hellifield. Further updates will be issued following a route inspection on Monday morning.
Calder Valley – This route remains closed due to flooding. Further updates on this route will issued following a route inspection on Monday morning.
Cumbrian Coast – This route remains closed. Further updates on this route will issued following a route inspection on Monday morning.
Due to the displacement of trains during Storm Ciara on Sunday, customers are advised that some services on Monday morning will be busier than usual due to the need to short-form some services.
