REVEALED: Top 10 destinations in Northern's three-day Flash Sale
Northern’s latest Flash Sale is off to a flying start, with hundreds of thousands of cut-price tickets already snapped up by eager passengers across the North.
Launched yesterday (Tuesday 30 September) and running until Thursday 2 October, the operator has put three million tickets up for grabs at a price of just £2 for adults, and £1 for children.
Early figures show the ten most popular destinations where the most bargain tickets have been snapped up for so far are:
- Leeds
- Manchester
- Blackpool
- Preston
- York
- Hull
- Carlisle
- Sheffield
- Liverpool
- Newcastle
Tickets purchased in Northern's Flash Sale are valid for travel between Monday, 6 October and Friday, 24 October 2025.
Alex Hornby, commercial and customer director for Northern, said: "We are just 24 hours in and the response has been incredible. Northern's Flash Sale is always very popular, but this one is shaping up to be one of the busiest yet.
"There are still plenty of great deals available, and Northern's online ‘Cheap Fare Finder’ makes it easier than ever to find the best price for where you're going."
Tickets are available to buy on Northern's app, online, and at ticket offices and on ticket machines at stations managed by Northern.
Northern is the second largest train operator in the UK, with 2,650 services a day to more than 500 stations across the North of England.
