Northern New Train Event in Barrow
Northern would like to invite you to a new train event that is being held in Barrow on Monday 1 July.
A short ceremony will start at 10:30am with speeches by Chris Jackson, Regional Director and Tim Owen, chair of the Furness Line Community Rai Partnership. This will followed by a wave off of the 10:46 Barrow to Manchester Airport.
This service will be formed of one of Northern’s new class 195 trains – part of our fleet of 101 new trains representing a £500m investment in local rail in the North and delivering a step-change in the on-board experience for our customers.
The Barrow to Manchester Airport services will be amongst the first routes where customers will experience our new trains
Light refreshments will follow afterwards.
