Awards success for Northern's Stuart and Graham
Popular frontline employees given Highly Commended honours at ceremony
Northern, part of the Arriva group, is celebrating recognition for two of its most popular frontline employees, who have been acknowledged at this year’s North of England Transport Awards.
St Helens Junction retail supervisor Stuart Blakeley and Middlesbrough conductor Graham Palmer received praised on Wednesday 7 December 2016 in a ceremony at the Midland Hotel in Manchester. Both were given Highly Commended honours for Frontline Employee of the Year.
Northern’s busy social media team were also acknowledged for their hard work, being included amongst the nominees for Customer Service Team of the Year. Additionally, Northern received nominations for Public Transport Operator of the Year and Contribution to Sustainable Transport.
